Regulating the status of persons not registered in the Register of Births<\/h3>\n

The statelessness, the lack of registered civil status and non-possession of personal documentation is a serious problem when it comes to enjoyment of the basic social and economic rights for many persons living in Macedonia.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Poverty, marginalization and discrimination are a \u201cstandard\u201d part of life for most of them. Stateless children are mostly concerned, bearing in mind that the basic rights are a luxury possessed by most of the children, but not by them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Public Call resulted with identification of\u00a0700 persons who did not posses any personal documents<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
