Macedonian Young Lawyers Association has joined International Detention Coalition (IDC), a unique global network of organisations and individuals working together to end the immigration detention of asylum seekers, refugees and migrants.
Over 300 civil society organisations and individuals in more than 70 countries advocate for, research and provide direct services to refugees, asylum-seekers and migrants affected by immigration detention.
Following the completion of a Global Detention Survey in 2008, the IDC has identified three strategic priorities: Ending and limiting detention, developing and promoting alternatives to immigration detention, and improving rights, conditions and monitoring of places of immigration detention.
